Vision Church Cloister Nation
|
Freedom Nation Freedom Church is where we interact with each other and Freedom Cloister is where we sustain our living. They may seem all we need. The truth is that we also live in the middle of a society with rules that affect us. Freedom Nation is where we interact with the world around us. While we have no intention of imposing our way of life on anyone else, we must try to live in harmony with the people around us. Sometimes our interests are in direct conflict with each other and we have to find ways to deal with it. Democracy is the form of government of this country. Democracy's biggest flaw is its inability to protect the interests of the minority. You could say it is the dictatorship of the majority. It is probably safe to say Freedom Nation will be a minority in just about every community for quite some time. How can we change that? What if we could have our own state or even our own country? There are some tiny countries in the world consisting of only a few thousand people. Surely, they only exist because they play nicely with their larger neighbors. Getting our own country is probably not realistic any time soon, but there is no reason why it couldn't be our ultimate goal. How about our own state? Wyoming and Vermont are the two smallest states. It would only take little more than 250,000 people to be the majority, less if you only count voters. How about a County? Niobrara County in Wyoming and Essex County in Vermont only have a few thousand people. Majority here seems within realistic reach, but how much autonomy could you actually experience? We'd like to find out and our first goal should be to establish a Cloister in Niobrara County, Wyoming. Our numbers simply do not justify expending resources on influencing the communities where we currently live. |
